2. Brownbag the lunch – Rather than always eating out, remember to brownbag your lunch to office or college every day. This won’t simply help you lower your expenditure but also to maintain your health. Good health will mean lower medical bills and thus lower debts. The lower the debts, the greater will be the option for you to save money.
3. Managing to make than minimum payments – Simply making minimum debt payments won’t help you pay off debts. Moreover, the longer the time you will take to pay off debts, the greater will be the amount you will end up paying against the interest. You can try the snowflake method which means making more than one payment each month.
4. Participating in different investments – Try investing your money in stocks or real estate or forex. Investments are a great option for you to make your money grow with the time.
5. Buying a life insurance policy – Buying a life insurance policy too is a form of investment. The greatest thing about these policies is that the money remains secure and you can claim it in the old age (depending on the term of the policy). The money grows with time.
6. Renegotiate credit card terms – Another great way to save money on debt payments and yet pay off the debts is through renegotiation. You can renegotiate the terms of the debt with your creditors and lenders.

All of the above if followed diligently, won’t simply help you save money but also to avoid incurring further debts. The fewer the debts you are going to incur, the easier will it become for you to pay off your existing debts.
